Sometimes this means hearing hard truths. Sometimes it means discovering that your child’s needs can be supported without an EHCP, but always, it means being held with honesty, empathy and calm strength — so you can show up for your child not just today, but for the long road ahead.

The school plays an important part in identifying and supporting your child’s needs. SEND at Heart helps you understand how to work closely with the school to ensure everyone is aligned. By collaborating with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals, we’ll make sure the right steps are taken to support your child’s growth.

What if I’m not sure whether my child has SEND?

That’s exactly what we’ll explore together. We’ll guide you through the steps of identifying and seeking appropriate support, from discussing concerns with the school to seeking professional assessments and working towards an application for an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP), if that is necessary.
